Jim Hodges: Untitled (Double-sided Blanket)

Description

For this piece, Jim Hodges wanted to create an imaginary landscape in the form of a blanket meant to appear like a body of water. The blanket “reflectsâ€? a poem written by Hodges which reads, “If there had been a pool it would have reflected us.â€? The blanket measures 52â€? h x 72â€? w, the exact dimensions of Hodge’s own bed and comes in a half-silvered mystery sleeve. Active use of the blanket is encouraged. Fabricated in Milan, Italy by Anichini, Inc.
