LEGO Editions Soccer Ball – 1,498 pieces

Description

Celebrate the game with this interactive tribute designed for sports fans and collectors alike.

The LEGO Editions Soccer Ball lets you construct a near 1:1 replica of an official size 5 soccer ball, trading a traditional smooth sphere for a textured, geometric interpretation built from precisely interconnected pieces. But the design’s real magic lies hidden within: open up the outer panels to reveal a vibrant, miniature stadium celebration scene hidden inside the core. Complete with a trophy, big screens, and a small button that triggers a mechanism to make the player figures celebrate amid pop-up fireworks, it’s a brilliant fusion of mechanical design and playful detail. LEGO building bricks are represented in MoMA’s collection.

Features of the LEGO Editions Soccer Ball include:

• Life-Sized Scale: Built to a near-identical 1:1 scale of an official size 5 soccer ball.
• Hidden Mechanical Stage: Features a discreetly engineered button that brings a micro-stadium scene to life inside, sending miniature player figures into a victory celebration.
• Textured Panel Detailing: Combines smooth outer deco discs with complex inner structures to expertly capture the classic paneled geometry of a traditional soccer ball.
• Ready for Display: The completed ball sits securely on a streamlined, black presentation base, allowing it to stand as a clean piece of sports decor on any shelf, desk, or mantle.
• Made from premium, precision-molded plastic building components.
• Measures over 8.5h x 8.5w x 8.5″d.
• Includes soccer ball build, micro player figures, built-in display stand, and digital building assistant compatibility via the LEGO Builder app
